Emergency Food and Shelter Programs (EFSP) are designed to provide assistance for needy individuals in Potter County if they are homeless or potentially homeless.  When applying for the grant, individuals must provide:

	Verification of need
	Family information
	Financial status
	Other available resources

The service provides temporary shelter to a family in need, or months' rent.  Case management is offered to assist the client in obtaining adequate housing by working closely with the housing programs and individual landlords in the area. Case management assistance is also offered for ongoing needs. Referrals to other agencies are made when appropriate.
