Vocational Training

Vocational Training aids an individual to learn basic job skills which will aid them in finding employment. Once basic skills have been learned, the individual may be moved into a supported employment program, where they work with a job coach to learn the skills necessary to properly perform their job. Once they have sufficiently mastered their job, the job coach will be ‘faded’ out, until the individual is working independently.
