What is the Mobile Family Center? |
Originally purchased through a grant program, the Mobile Center is a 38’ re-designed RV that was specifically designed to meet our county's social service and health needs. Sometimes described as a "family center on wheels," it provides health, educational and social services such as immunizations, dental screenings, health screenings, educational presentations, health insurance intakes, etc. Small groups often meet on the MFC to present or share information.

The purpose of the Mobile Family Center is to provide a wide array of health and social services to county residents of all ages. These services are offered in a family-friendly setting, and at convenient community locations. The Mobile Center travels throughout Potter County and attends most public county events such as the Potter County Fair, Maple Festival, Crossfork Snake Hunt, etc.
What is inside the Mobile Family Center?
The MFC contains a computerized hearing booth, DVD-VCR player, television, microwave, two refrigerators, storage compartments, slide-out room to double the inside space, wheelchair lift, and a dental chair with adjustable light and height.
